The event is held each year under the honorary patronage of the Mayor of Legnica Tadeusz Krzakowski and the Rector of the Witelon State University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Ryszard K. Pisarski.
The event is attracting growing interest from students and teachers. The aim of the “Career in Legnica” City Game is to promote informed educational and professional career planning among students of Legnica schools and to provide information about institutions offering assistance in this area.
National Career Week (OTK) is an annual initiative of the Association of School and Vocational Counsellors of the Republic of Poland, aimed at inspiring nationwide and local initiatives to develop career guidance, that is, supporting every citizen’s path to education, a profession, work and a career. The initiative is held under the patronage of the ministers responsible for labour and social policy and for national education.
The organizers of the initiative are: the Career Office of the Witelon State University of Applied Sciences in Legnica, the City Hall, the District Labour Office, the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Labour Office, the Career Information and Planning Centre, Psychological and Pedagogical Counselling Centres No. 1 and 2, and the OHP Youth Education and Work Centre in Legnica.
The winning teams will receive the Mayor of Legnica’s trophy and attractive prizes funded by sponsors.
