Last week’s warming caused the snow to melt rapidly. Water flooded basements, barns and wells in many buildings throughout the county. On Friday and Saturday, firefighters were called out to as many as 40 local flooding incidents.

Firefighters pumped out water, among other places, in Nowogrodziec, Czerna, Milików, Ocice, Zabłocie, Parowa and Warta Bolesławiecka.
