The Municipal Transport Company announces that October 27 (Monday) a new bus route, number 12, will be launched. Its route will run as follows: Łasicka, terminus – al. Wojska Polskiego – Zwycięstwa – Jeleniogórska – Zygmunta Augusta – Spółdzielcza – Chrobrego, former Polfa – Chrobrego, PKP railway station – Ogrodowa – Chrobrego, former Polfa – Spółdzielcza – Zygmunta Augusta – Jeleniogórska – Zwycięstwa – al. Wojska Polskiego– Łasicka, terminus.

As MZK president Andrzej Jagiera explains, the company is launching the new bus route at the request of Bolesławiec residents, especially those living on Zygmunta Augusta Street and Wojska Polskiego Avenue. “Since the bus timetable changed, we have received reports from residents of these streets, mainly older people, saying that they now have no way to get to the railway station, the hospital or one of the supermarkets,” the president says. “It is at their request that we are launching this new route.”

In an interview with “ii,” the head of the municipal company stressed that introducing the new number 12 bus route will not come at the expense of any existing connections.

Well over 200 residents of our city petitioned for the launch of the new route. Details are available on the website of the Municipal Transport Company in Bolesławiec.
