The project is being implemented under the Poland – Saxony 2007–2013 Operational Programme for Cross-Border Cooperation, Priority Axis 2 – Cross-Border Social Integration, Support Area 3 – Social Infrastructure, Action Direction 2 – Supporting social institutions and projects.
As part of the project, the first and third floors of the dormitory building were reconstructed for the needs of the Youth Sociotherapy Centre and a gym, including dance rooms and their equipment. Multimedia and RTV equipment, as well as promotional gadgets for project participants, were also purchased.
Activities related to equipping the Youth Sociotherapy Centre in Zgorzelec are currently underway. The total value of the project is nearly EUR 518,500, while funding from the European Regional Development Fund amounts to nearly EUR 441,000. The project is scheduled for completion at the end of October this year.
