The wall surrounding Balancing Reservoir No. 1 on Kosiby Street in Bolesławiec is no longer gray and gloomy. The colors of the Zagłębie Lubin football club have appeared on it. There is also a welcoming message from supporters of the Bolesławiec Zagłębie fan club for drivers entering Bolesławiec from the direction of Złotoryja, as well as the inscription: “Honor and glory to the heroes.” The inscription was placed on the national colors alongside the symbol of Fighting Poland. This is another piece of graffiti by Zagłębie supporters in Bolesławiec. Previously, the colors and symbols of the club from Lubin appeared on the walls of garages on Gałczyńskiego and Jezierskiego streets.
Zagłębie supporters painted the wall on Kosiby Street after first obtaining permission from the Bolesławiec Water and Sewage Company, which manages the facility. The President of PWiK, Józef Król, makes no secret of his satisfaction with the wall’s renewal. “The supporters came to us several times to present their proposal for developing our fence. We liked it very much,” explains the PWiK president. “We received a design of what would be painted on the wall. It is a very good idea. Zagłębie Lubin fans have become the caretakers of the wall and will now look after it. It is a very nice initiative by young people, which PWiK was happy to support,” Józef Król concludes.
