The competition took place over the weekend. In the first round, seventh-seeded Krystyna Szwajkowska easily defeated Joanna Kubińska (KS Unia Bieruń) 21:14, 21:10. In the second round (the round of 16), our player faced Idalia Haracz of LKS Technik Głubczyce in a hard-fought match. Unfortunately, her opponent played more accurately. The shuttlecocks she hit landed right by the line. The match ended with a 14:21, 19:21 defeat for the Bolesławianka.
The Polish Championships held in Słupsk brought several surprises. The biggest was the defeat of the European Championship bronze medalists, the pair Michał Łogosz - Robert Matusiak (SKB Litpol - Malow Suwałki). The champion pair lost in the semifinal to Przemysław Wacha - Rafał Hawel (LKS Technik Głubczyce) 15:21, 21:15, 21:22. The women's and men's singles competitions also ended unexpectedly. In both categories, players from LKS Technik Głubczyce also emerged victorious: Angelika Węgrzyn and Przemysław Wacha. The gold medalists from Głubczyce train at the modern Olympic preparation center there.
