We all know that children should be taught about safety from an early age. The local police officer from Rudna and Commissioner Leo know this too. They both visited the local preschool. The meeting began with the reading of a fairy tale. Next came a few tips:
- how to play safely at preschool, at home or in the yard
- what dangers may threaten young children from adults
- how to participate safely in road traffic.
After the theory came the practical part, and this was where Commissioner Leo stepped into action, showing the children how to move safely on the road and cross at a pedestrian crossing. Such a lecturer will certainly remain in the little ones’ memories for a long time.
