On September 11–12, Lubin police officers, together with Cuprum Arena Gallery, organized preventive and educational activities. The campaign included theoretical and practical classes for children and young people from Lubin County, covering traffic regulations, basic rules of conduct on the road, and the practical aspects of road safety for the youngest road users.
For the occasion, a traffic town was borrowed from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. “The young people taking part in our activities not only had the opportunity to learn about the regulations, but, above all, could apply them in practice,” the officers said. “Every child received a reflective item and other attractive prizes. For a moment, the children could feel like law-enforcement officers by sitting behind the handlebars of a police motorcycle and at the wheel of a police car.”
An undeniable attraction for the youngest visitors was the police mascot, Commissioner Leo.
