Anna Karykowska returned with the gold medal in the under-15 group, confirming her supremacy in Lower Silesia. In the same age group, her club teammate Gabriela Maciak won silver.

The youngest Miedź chess players also won two medals in the under-9 boys’ group.

Rafał Topoła took second place, while Jurek Eigner finished third. In the under-13 girls’ group, Elena Lascar won silver, while Ewa Włodarska took bronze in the under-11 girls’ category. The remaining two medals went to the boys. Grzegorz Krawiec won silver among the 17-year-olds, while Michał Fiedorek took bronze among the 11-year-olds.
