The aim of the competition is to collect information about well-prepared sites that can be offered to potential foreign investors. During the competition, municipalities present their investment sites, while a special commission assesses the land in terms of its preparation for investors.

The Bolesławiec municipality, which won in Lower Silesia, presented a serviced 3.5-hectare site located near national road No. 4 and the newly designed section of the A4 motorway. A railway siding is also located nearby. City Mayor Piotr Roman is pleased that another municipality from Bolesławiec County, Nowogrodziec, also qualified for the competition final.

“This demonstrates our activity. Our land is well developed, with utilities and infrastructure (...) But we must also remember about tax incentives and good investor service. Our municipal office meets the requirements of the ISO standard; moreover, we have a fast-track procedure for companies so that they do not have to wait for a decision any longer than necessary,” said the mayor of Bolesławiec while accepting the award.
