Enthusiasts of this royal game can now play matches at attractive tables. Let us recall that years ago there was a chessboard here, but it was destroyed. As part of the LCB, residents voted for it to return. And so it did.
In this part of the city, residents also voted to revitalize the courtyard within Wrocławska, Daszyńskiego, Czarnieckiego and Kazimierza Wielkiego streets. The project was completed in August. A recreational area with play equipment for children was created, as well as an enclosure housing waste containers.
Voters also decided to build courtyard pavements within Drukarska, Moniuszki and św. Trójcy streets, as well as a chessboard at Targowy Square. The concrete-paver pavements were laid in August. They make it easier to reach the courtyard and the blocks of flats.
In the same courtyard, also in August, the construction of a children's playground with a recreational area was completed. The place changed its appearance thanks to various, functional and colourful pieces of equipment.
