Film creators may use various film genres: reportage, interview, documentary or a fictionalized story. The film may be made by one person or a team of no more than three people. The permitted running time for the competition film is 10 minutes. To enter the film in the competition, a digital copy on CD or DVD in AVI or MPG format, together with a completed entry form, must be delivered by 31 October 2014 to the “Orzeł” Cultural Integration Centre at 17 Chopina Street.
The aim of the competition is to promote a healthy lifestyle; show the harmful effects of smoking on people, society and the environment; develop assertive attitudes; provide justification for and reinforce attitudes committed to not smoking; present and promote creative film achievements; stimulate young people’s creativity; and help them learn and improve their skills in using filmmaking techniques and the language of film.

The competition is organized by the Powiat Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Bolesławiec and the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramic Centre. Honorary patronage of the competition was assumed by: Jacek Klakoćar, Lower Silesian State Provincial Sanitary Inspector, and Piotr Roman, Mayor of Bolesławiec.
