The event, organized by Koszykarski Klub Sportowy Turów Zgorzelec, aims to popularize basketball among children and young people from the city and Zgorzelec Municipality. The presence of the Polish champions’ players—PGE Turów—is intended to help achieve this goal.
The organizers assure attendees that children and young people from local schools can look forward to many surprises, games and other attractions prepared especially for them. An interesting feature and an incentive to take part in Sports Day is the fact that every PGE Turów basketball player will actively participate in the event, while coach Miodrag Rajković himself will appear in an unusual role.
– We want as many children and young people as possible to attend the event. It will certainly be a great opportunity to meet our basketball players, get to know the new players and have fun with them, take a photo or get an autograph. We do not want to say exactly what will happen at the Municipal Stadium before the event, because we hope to surprise the youngest participants – says Gabriela Grzyb, the Club’s marketing manager.
The Family Sports Day featuring PGE Turów Zgorzelec basketball players will take place on September 1 in Zgorzelec, at the Municipal Stadium on Maratońska Street. The activities begin at 3:00 p.m.
