Police officers detained a 63-year-old woman suspected of damaging property. They established that, from May to July this year, the detainee damaged 15 cars parked on several streets in Jelenia Góra. The woman scratched the paintwork of vehicles of various makes with a coin. The victims’ losses range from approximately PLN 1,000 to nearly PLN 4,000. In total, they exceed PLN 25,000. Worse still, the 63-year-old was unable to explain why she had done it.
The woman from Jelenia Góra admitted to the offence. She now faces up to 5 years in prison.
