After an impressive victory in Mirsk (5–1), the Bolesławiec team faced another newcomer to the league – Widawa Bierutów. Saturday’s match was the first BKS played at home this season. Andrzej Kisiel’s team once again took all three points, but had to work hard for them. Especially since, after a sluggish opening 15 minutes, the visitors scored the first goal. The referee judged Daniel Dudkiewicz’s intervention to be a foul and pointed to the spot. Daniel Magiera stepped up to take the ball, making it 1–0 for Widawa. Angered, BKS set about making up the deficit. Unfortunately, they lacked the finishing touch. It was not until the 44th minute, after a mistake by a visiting defender who failed to control the ball, that Marcin Kraśnicki scored the equaliser.
BKS played better after the break. The hosts threatened the visitors’ goal several times. One such attack produced the desired result. In the 57th minute, Piotr Dzięgleski played the ball from the left towards Marcin Kraśnicki, who made no mistake and headed past the goalkeeper from Bierutów. BKS had several more chances, but the score did not change. BKS Bobrzanie – Widawa Bierutów 2–1 (1–1). Next Wednesday, the Bolesławiec team will play away against Nysa Zgorzelec.
