Radwanicka Street (a side street off Słubicka Street) is being paved with reclaimed asphalt from the reconstruction of Moniuszko Street. Residents who use this street are pleased because it previously had an unpaved surface, which could be problematic during heavy rainfall. Once the paving is complete, this problem will disappear.

Recently, a new reclaimed-asphalt surface was laid along an almost 1.5-kilometre section of Myśliwska Street. The material was obtained from the reconstruction of Witelona and Skarbka streets. Residents of Myśliwska can now reach their homes via a convenient road.

The paving of further streets in Piekary Stare will begin soon. The roadways of Ciesielska and Rzeczna streets will be upgraded using milled asphalt from Witelona, Skarbka and Jaworzyńska streets. Previously, Rymarska and Kołodziejska streets, as well as Pawicka Street, were paved in the same way. Reclaimed material is highly suitable for these purposes. Laying it on a road does not require complicated work. The machine simply spreads and compacts it. This type of surface serves residents for years.
