Their installation has just been completed on the final section, from Mickiewicza Street to Jaworzyńska Street. Further streetlights will be installed on Roosevelta Street and Mickiewicza Street.
The redevelopment of the lighting system carried out by the Municipal Roads Authority will also include an underground power installation extending for more than one kilometre. The total cost of the project is approximately PLN 220,000.
The installation of new lamps is yet another stage in the redevelopment of the street lighting in the Tarninów district. In 2012, new streetlights were installed on Korfantego, Łukasińskiego and Mickiewicza streets. These investments primarily serve to improve residents’ safety, but they also enhance the appearance of the historic district.
The modernisation of Tarninów’s street lighting will continue.
