A Reader informed us about the incident. The tragedy occurred on 8 August on a motorway near Magdeburg (Germany). According to mdr.de, a car caught fire on the motorway for unknown reasons. A traffic jam formed. The truck driver was unable to brake in time and a pile-up occurred, during which one of the vans was completely crushed, and its driver—a 35-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec—died at the scene. Three more people were injured in the accident, one seriously.
