Furthermore, the snack bar and restaurant are run by a Polish family, and Polish-speaking staff have been hired. The number of Polish visitors has now risen from 3% to 7% of the zoo’s total number of visitors.
The first step in cooperation with Polish municipalities was the “Welcome, Little One” project, carried out on both sides of the Nysa. As part of the project, new parents receive an annual admission ticket to Nasze Zoo for one adult. The project is very popular.
For the City of Bolesławiec, Nasze Zoo is an attractive destination for a trip abroad. This is demonstrated by the installation of six large-format advertising boards at the roads entering the city, on which the City of Bolesławiec recommends Nasze Zoo.
As a result of many years of cooperation with the City of Zgorzelec, Mayor Rafał Gronicz presented us with two large sewage pipes, which will be used to build the “rabbit kingdom”.
