The tragedy occurred on August 9 in the early morning hours on National Road No. 3 between Chróstnik and Karczowiska. Four passenger vehicles were involved in the incident. A 26-year-old resident of Lubin Municipality, who was driving a Fiat, died as a result of her injuries. The driver of the Toyota was taken to hospital and subsequently released. The other drivers, who were driving a Ford and a Passat, did not suffer serious injuries.
Police officers from the investigative and forensic unit and the traffic department, as well as a prosecutor and a road traffic expert, worked at the scene. Investigators are determining the cause of the accident.
