The Municipality of Bolesławiec received additional financial support for these investments under the “Renewal and Development of Rural Areas” measure, and the signing of the agreement was attended by Lower Silesian Voivodeship Marshal Cezary Przybylski.
Although the latest calls for applications under the “Renewal and Development of Rural Areas” measure have already ended, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development allocated additional financial resources to implement, among other things, five projects from the municipalities and counties of Bolesławiec and Zgorzelec.
– We sought an increase in the pool of funds, which made it possible to support two investments in the Municipality of Bolesławiec – said Cezary Przybylski, Lower Silesian Voivodeship Marshal. – The signing of today’s agreements is also an opportunity to appreciate the fact that municipalities regularly obtain external funding.
In total, the funding amounted to PLN 500,000 for the construction of the Community House in Ocice and the construction of the Community House in Kraśnik Dolny. As Bolesławiec Municipality Head Andrzej Dutkowski pointed out, the municipality’s budget savings achieved in this way will be allocated to the implementation of a kindergarten construction programme.
The objective of measure 313, “Renewal and Development of Rural Areas,” is to improve the quality of life in rural areas by meeting the social and cultural needs of rural residents and promoting rural areas. The measure enables the development of rural community identity, the preservation of cultural heritage and the distinctiveness of rural areas, and contributes to increasing the tourist and investment appeal of rural areas.
