Fourteen additional social housing apartments were completed before the holidays. Two new buildings, along with a road, parking area and lighting, were constructed on Kościuszki Street. The apartments are equipped with electrical, water-supply and sanitary sewage systems. The buildings are heated with coal-fired tiled stoves. Each apartment has an electric water heater and a kitchen stove with a water-heating coil. The usable floor area of a one-room apartment is 29.8 m². A two-room apartment has an area of 46.5 m².
More than one million złotys was spent from the Bolesławiec city budget on constructing the new buildings, including PLN 123,000 for utility infrastructure and roadworks. Approximately 47 people will live in the new buildings.
Ten buildings have so far been constructed on Kościuszki Street, containing 108 social housing apartments. PLN 5.739 million was spent from the city budget on their construction.
