Bolec’s journalists are clearly at the beginning of their education in conducting and publishing interviews. Their conversations are often incomprehensible because of background noise. And when something can finally be heard and understood, all that remains is laughter and sympathy for the interview subject.
Bolec’s journalists do not cut out obvious mistakes, slips of the tongue, or even rather inelegant interjections.
From the interview with Deputy County Head Stanisław Chwojnicki, we learn that such things as “gas sewerage” and “water-supply sewerage” exist, that there is a street called “Tyrankiewicza” in our town, and, after a blunder concerning the deadline for completing the road renovation, that “well, fuck(?)/darn(?)… that’s wrong”…
The interview with former County Head Cezary Przybylski is a real challenge! You have to know how to read lips to find out what the county head is saying, because mostly you can hear music. On top of that, Przybylski’s tie, almost like that of the comic-book character Dilbert, completes the entire disastrous image that emerged.
So be careful when Bolec asks you for an interview. Despite your best intentions, you may become a laughingstock.
