The finals of the National Youth Olympics in boys’ basketball for players born in 1999 took place from 24 to 28 June in Wałbrzych. A resident of Bolesławiec and student of Miejski Zespół Szkół nr 2 in Bolesławiec, Maciej Leszczyński, took part in the competition. Representing Lubusz Voivodeship, our basketball player won the Polish championship title in the under-15 category with his team after an exhausting final. It is also worth noting that Maciej was called up to the Poland Youth National Team training camp, which will take place from 9019 July in Giżycko.
