Vilsait plans to establish a logistics centre in Bolesławiec. The company’s owner, Bartosz Wiśniewski, declares that he will incur investment expenditure of PLN 1,965,000. The company plans to employ at least 10 people and begin the investment in Bolesławiec later this year.

Turningtec Polska will provide metal-processing services for the automotive industry and apply coatings to metals. Turningtec company president Joachim Effinger declared that the company would incur investment expenditure of at least PLN 10 million and employ a minimum of 25 workers. The investment is scheduled to begin this year.

Because of planned training, Turningtec Polska has already begun recruiting employees for its factory in Bolesławiec. The job offer is for a production manager, CNC machine operator, machining mechanic or industrial mechanic/CNC machine setter.

“The decision by two new investors to locate their operations in the Bolesławiec subzone is good news for residents,” says Bolesławiec mayor Piotr Roman. It is also worth recalling that a new investment has begun in Bolesławiec for small and medium-sized enterprises wishing to start operating in the economic zone. A production and warehouse hall, together with the necessary infrastructure and an office building, is being constructed on the premises of WSSE “Invest-Park”.

The following companies have so far invested in the Bolesławiec Subzone of WSSE: Hoerbiger Automotive Poland, Lesław Sacher Obróbka Skrawaniem Metalu, SRG Global (Guardian Group), Elektros and Kegger. The declared investment expenditure amounts to PLN 220 million, with declared employment of 576 people. In total, the new plants have occupied more than 19 hectares of the Bolesławiec Subzone of WSSE “Invest-Park”. The zone is an ideal place to invest for both large companies and small family businesses. Anyone who decides to invest in a special economic zone may benefit from tax exemptions. The conditions for tax exemption are specified in the permit to conduct business activity in the area covered by the special economic zone, which the investor receives after deciding to invest in the zone. Investors locating projects in Bolesławiec may benefit from exemptions from local taxes (property tax).

Tax exemptions for entrepreneurs are set out in two resolutions of the Bolesławiec City Council—on de minimis aid and regional aid. In the case of de minimis aid, an entrepreneur may obtain a tax exemption after creating five new jobs.
