An unusual event took place on June 7 in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki (Warta Bolesławiecka commune). On that day, a playground for children was opened. The facility was built on land belonging to a housing community thanks to the efforts of Warta Bolesławiecka Municipal Councilor Józef Słobodzian (with the support of the other councilors).

The playground was officially opened by: the Warta commune head and a priest from the local parish, who blessed the facility.

It was at the request of Józef Słobodzian, a councilor from the Tomaszów Bolesławiecki housing estate, that the head of Warta Bolesławiecka Commune and the Municipal Council responded positively to the initiative, resulting in the establishment of another playground in the commune—already the seventh this year. In 2014, four multifunctional sports fields were also built. “It should be noted that the Warta Bolesławiecka Commune has focused not only on infrastructure, but also on recreation and the physical fitness of the younger generation,” councilor Józef Słobodzian emphasizes.
