The Flower Festival, organized by councillor Grażyna Łucka, the village head and Village Council, the KGW women’s association from Łaziska, the Parish Council, the “Nasze Łaziska” Association and the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec with its registered office in Kruszyn, took place on 18 May.
Among the guests were, among others, Deputy Minister of Economy Ilona Antoniszyn-Klik, Lower Silesian Voivodeship Marshal Cezary Przybylski, Bolesławiec County Head Dariusz Kwaśniewski, Deputy County Head Stanisław Chwojnicki, Chair of the Bolesławiec County Council Karol Stasik, Chair of the Bolesławiec Municipal Council Bogusław Uziej, Municipal Head Andrzej Dutkowski, Deputy Municipal Head Roman Jaworski and Municipal Treasurer Franciszek Popek.
There was also a competition for the most beautiful bouquet. The jury (comprising: Bożena Kuchmacz, Agnieszka Jasiukiewicz and Franciszek Popek) decided that the most beautiful bouquet had been prepared by the women from the KGW in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki.
The performers on stage included singers (Elisa and Denise Laudani, Monika and Natalia Dymarskie, Patryk Oleksy, Asia Paszkiewicz, Daria Konefał, Daria Gala, Justyna Scholz and Marcelina Walęga as well as Agnieszka Miszkiewicz), dancers (a pair from the ZPiT Ziemi Bolesławieckiej – Katarzyna Tor and Radosław Górecki) and the Municipal Song and Dance Ensemble “Jutrzenka”. The festival concluded with dancing to music by the Duet band.
