We reported on the matter on April 25. Residents of Krzyżowa, a village in the Gromadka municipality, do not want a wind farm to be built within 3 km of their homes. According to them, the municipal authorities concealed information about the investment from them (more on this in the article Residents of Krzyżowa Protest Against Wind Turbines).
A meeting of the Gromadka Municipal Council took place on April 29. Before the council session, residents of Krzyżowa organized a protest. Several dozen people took part. “The mayor and councilors spoke with us differently today and allowed us to speak,” one of the protesters told “ii.” “We agreed that we would meet with the investor. What is more, Mayor Dariusz Pawliszczy announced that he would act as a mediator in the dispute.”
