Construction work and roof repairs are under way at 32d al. Tysiąclecia in Bolesławiec. “This is a public-use building. We received it free of charge from the Marshal’s Office. It will house two abstinence associations, occupational therapy workshops, a community self-help centre and a homeless shelter,” Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman reports.
The investment is being carried out by the Municipal Housing Management Plant. It will cost PLN 970,000. The work is being performed by a consortium of companies: Zakład Usług Ogólnobudowlanych from Zaręba and Przedsiębiorstwo-Produkcyjno-Usługowo-Handlowe Everbest from Lubań.
The work includes, among other things, replacing the roofing and sheet-metal flashings, rebuilding and extending chimneys, sealing ventilation ducts, and modernising the water and sewage system, electrical system and lighting. The works also include reconstructing rooms, installing joinery, laying flooring and painting.
