New people will join the Management Board of MKS Bobrzanie. The position of vice-president, responsible for promoting the club, was entrusted to Damian Sawczak. Tomasz Karbowski became a board member and coordinator of the youth groups. The club manager and a board member is the former vice-president, Leszek Markowski. The board decided to retain Henryk Szewc as president. Jarosław Poliwka will continue to serve as treasurer, while Grzegorz Faltyn was retained as a board member.
The goals set by the club for 2006 include promotion of the senior team to the district league. After the autumn round, MKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec are second in Class A, three points behind the leaders. The club’s board also wants to support and promote youth sport by encouraging boys from Bolesławiec and the surrounding area to take part actively in sport, especially football. Training for all youth groups will be intensified within the club. Raising the standard of MKS Bobrzanie players’ training is to be achieved through the teams’ participation in numerous football tournaments, not only at local level but also on the international stage.
Another important goal set by the club’s board is to improve the infrastructure at the stadium on Rajska Street. The plan for 2006 includes starting construction of changing rooms with a utility room and creating a training pitch. This will make it possible to modernise the main pitch.
The board asks all sponsors wishing to support MKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec and youth sport in the city to contact vice-president Damian Sawczak at 0504 289 597.
