The performance is the result of two months of work by a 20-person amateur group ranging in age from 10 to 60, which worked with humorous texts, mainly by Jan Brzechwa. “A Piece of Art About Love” is a performance about love, told with humour, irony and a touch of absurdity. It is intended for adults, immature adults and children. As a warning, as encouragement, with no moral. These words capture the essence of the first performance by the amateur theatre group operating under the wing of Orzeł, that is, at the Orzeł Cultural Integration Centre.

The choice of repertoire is instructor Mariusz Laudański’s tribute to Urszula Frąszczak-Matyjewicz, his first theatre instructor, with whom he produced texts from “Brzechwa for Adults” during the period when the Bolesławiec youth theatre group “Tiger Deafened by the House” was active at the Old Theatre.
