The provincial final of the “From the Playground to the Stadium for the Tymbark Cup” tournament is over. The competition, held on April 3 in Świdnica, brought together the champions of Lower Silesian counties, including the Kusy Bolesławiec team (U-12 category).
In the final, the Bolesławiec footballers faced Legnica’s Młode Wilki and defeated their opponents 3:2. The winning team advanced to the national final, which will be held at the turn of April and May at the National Stadium in Warsaw.
Our team played in the following lineup: Mateusz Medyński, Jakub Cieśla, Jakub Kowalonek, Ksawery Sobiecki, Jakub Kukawski, Jakub Rissmann, Bartosz Turecki, Mateusz Kizyma, Leon Kurczewski, Oskar Rajczakowski, Dominik Janiec and Jakub Wojtas. The team’s coach is Adrian Bernacki.
The team would like to thank the management of Miejski Zespół Szkół No. 2 in Bolesławiec, Szkoła Podstawowa in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki and Szkoła Podstawowa in Nowogrodziec, the physical education teachers from these schools, and the coaches of BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec and Football Academy Bolesławiec for helping make their dreams come true.
