For the residents of Bolesławiec, Zygmunt Grochowski is known primarily from the Ceramics Festival, during which he has presented his paintings for several years. The women in his paintings are beautiful, passionate, seductive and alluring. Zygmunt Grochowski comes from, lives and works in Przemków. He paints in oils on canvas and board, as well as in pastels, watercolours and pencil, and uses tempera on wood (icons). He creates frescoes on walls. In addition to the contemporary art that fascinates him, he paints commissioned portraits, landscapes, flowers and scenery, and makes copies of works by famous masters such as Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Eduard Manet, Chełmoński and the Kossak family.
