On Saturday, February 22, in Golnice, the driver of an Audi hit the back of a Ford. The 35-year-old drove away from the scene and ended his journey in Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka. There, the Audi driver damaged a road sign and stopped against a pole. The man was detained by another driver and handed over to the police.
It turned out that the Audi driver was drunk. He had 2 per mille of alcohol in his system. As a result of the collision he had previously caused in Golnice, two people sustained minor injuries. The man will face court proceedings for driving under the influence of alcohol and causing two road incidents.
