Police officers from the Economic Crime Unit of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters detained a 20-year-old resident of Bolesławiec commune suspected of attempting to defraud lenders. Investigators established that the young man had attempted at least twice to obtain a loan using forged documents. The 20-year-old, who ran his own business, presented a certificate stating that he was an employee of another company.
In total, the man attempted to obtain a PLN 27,000 loan fraudulently. The suspect admitted his guilt. He now faces up to five years in prison.
