As part of the “Winter 2013/2014” police operation, officers are checking places where homeless people may be staying. Police officers also pay attention to people under the influence of alcohol (they are particularly vulnerable to freezing to death), provide information and help them reach facilities supporting homeless people and others requiring care.
Police officers appeal to all residents of Bolesławiec County to report anyone they notice lying or sitting on the ground, on benches, at stops or in garden shelters who could be at risk of hypothermia. Let us not remain indifferent! Our response could save someone’s life.
