Police officers from Bolesławiec conducted the “Truck” operation. The officers inspected 83 vehicles. They seized the registration certificates of 48 vehicles (due to their poor technical condition) and issued 36 fines.
Moreover, the officers apprehended a drunk driver who was subject to a court-ordered ban on driving motor vehicles, in force until December 2015. The 36-year-old resident of Bolesławiec had more than 2‰ of alcohol in his system.
In recent years, the number of accidents involving buses and trucks has risen sharply. The preventive “Truck” operation is intended to improve the safety of road users.
