Politicians' comments

"The result achieved in Bolesławiec will be important when determining the strategy for the local elections. We do not feel defeated. Our programs will be implemented at all levels of administration. Everything is still ahead of us," says Karol Stasik, head of Bolesławiec's Civic Platform.

"It is worth noting that Donald Tusk won in two communes in the county—in Bolesławiec and Osiecznica. It seems to me that this is because the military is present in both communes and Tusk enjoys strong support among soldiers," says Piotr Roman, the mayor of Bolesławiec, who is associated with Law and Justice.
