The awards ceremony for preschoolers was held on Thursday, December 19. In the competition organized by the Municipal Ecological Education Centre and the Bolesławiec Municipal Office, first place went to four-year-old Paweł Zarzycki.
A total of 106 children from municipal and private preschools took part in the competition. Four main prizes (second places) and 21 distinctions were awarded. In addition to the first prize, the children from “number three” received three distinctions. Toys, books and certificates went to Aicha Hanaf, Dawid Maczer and Milenka Rajczakowska.
The “The Forest Closer to Us” competition aimed to awaken children’s sensitivity to the beauty and richness of forests, develop their passion for learning about natural phenomena and raise ecological awareness.
Using any artistic technique, the children painted forest landscapes, animals and scenes full of trees and forest plants. The competition entries will be available to view at an exhibition in the Town Hall.
