Neither the beginning nor the course of the match suggested that the Bolesławiec team would suffer a defeat. In the first half, the Kobierzyce players had the advantage. They created more chances to score, but BKS were the first to find the net. In the 38th minute, Robert Nitarski scored for our team. The Bolesławiec players’ joy did not last long, however, as two minutes later the visiting striker Osiecki beat the BKS goalkeeper with a long-range shot. In the first half, Paweł Rissmann also had a good chance to score, but he failed to take it.
Bolesławiec had the advantage in the second half. Unfortunately, they were unable to confirm their superiority by scoring. Paweł Rissmann missed two good chances. In the 90th minute, the score was still level and nothing suggested that the Bolesławiec players would leave Kobierzyce defeated. In added time, the referee awarded a penalty to the hosts. In the official’s view, Robert Nitarski fouled a GKS player inside the penalty area. Wawreńczuk converted the penalty. After the goal, the referee brought the match to an end. BKS Bolesławiec lost 1–2 to GKS Kobierzyce.
