On Saturday, October 26, BTS Bolesławiec volleyball players played their third match in the men’s third-division volleyball competition. A sizable group of supporters attended the match and passionately backed the home team throughout. Unfortunately, Bolesławiec lost to Dolmet Siatkarz Oleśnica 0–3 (23–25, 13–25 and 16–25). Due to injuries, BTS played with the following lineup: Biczak, Czyżewski, Nitecki, Krawiec, Włoszczyński, Folga, Walkowiak, Turczyński, Zakrzewski and Rutkowski. The supporters saw an evenly matched contest only in the first set. The visitors dominated the next two sets. In the second set, injured Włoszczyński had to leave the court. In the third set, Folga left the court for the same reason.
The team from Oleśnica mainly broke down BTS with their serves. Our team struggled with reception. Communication between the players was also lacking. Several times, two volleyball players went for the same ball. After the heavy defeat in the second set (to 13), BTS players began making more and more mistakes. The visitors controlled the match and won the third set 25–16. BTS will play their next match at home on November 9. Our team’s opponent will be MKS Rosiek Syców.
