A native of our town, Łukasz Kubot defeated Frenchman Adrian Mannarino in the Grand Slam tournament and—for the first time in his career!—advanced to the quarter-finals, where he will face another Pole, Jerzy Janowicz. The Istotne.pl editorial team congratulates him on his success and is keeping its fingers crossed for our fellow townsman.
