The commemorative badge of the Bolesławiec Military Recruitment Office is a symbol of belonging to the community, an expression of recognition for impeccable service and work, and a sign connecting soldiers and employees currently serving and working, as well as those who have already retired.
The right to receive the badge is not limited to WKU soldiers and employees. At the request of the Commemorative Badge Committee, it may be awarded to individuals and legal entities who have rendered particular service to the Bolesławiec Military Recruitment Office. During the 30th session of the Bolesławiec County Council, the badges were awarded to County Head Cezary Przybylski and his deputy, Stanisław Chwojnicki.
“Bolesławiec County is an exceptional place,” Przybylski said. “The 10th Armoured Cavalry Brigade named after Stanisław Maczek and the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment are stationed here. In addition, one of the four Military Recruitment Offices in Lower Silesia is located in our county.”
“May these badges be proof of our gratitude for your openness in contacts and support for the official activities of the Military Recruitment Office, and may they uphold the good traditions of civil-military cooperation established to date,” said Lieutenant Colonel Andrzej Łuka, commander of the military recruitment office.
