BKS’s senior team is getting closer to promotion to the IV league. In the postponed match of the 18th round of the Jelenia Góra district league, played on 29 May, BKS Bobrzanie crushed Pogoń Świerzawa 12–1 (7–0). The goals in Wednesday’s match were scored by: 8th minute Wojciech Chlebosz (an own goal under pressure from Marcin Kraśnicki), 9th minute Wojciech Glanc, 10th minute Marcin Kraśnicki, 14th minute Filip Paluchowicz, 16th minute Wojciech Glanc again, 32nd minute Marcin Kraśnicki again, and 45th minute Paweł Żmudziński.
In the second half: 51st minute Zbigniew Mastalerz, 54th minute Damian Kamuda, Damian Kamuda again in the 55th minute, and in the 75th minute, for Pogoń, Radosław Kurek (from a free kick). In the 87th minute, Paweł Żmudziński scored again for BKS. The final score of 12–1 was set in the 88th minute by Emmanuel Ohagwu.
The match was a one-sided spectacle. BKS dominated in every aspect of the game. In the first half, the players from Świerzawa took one inaccurate shot at the hosts’ goal. Tomasz Wolny tried to surprise Manuel Kowalski. In the second half, coach Paweł Żmudziński made changes and brought junior players onto the pitch. The visitors then “caught their breath” and confirmed it with Radosław Kurek’s consolation goal and a dangerous shot by Marcin Hyndle, which Manuel Kowalski turned behind for a corner with the greatest difficulty.
