The away match BKS played in Lwówek Śląski on 18 May began brilliantly for Paweł Żmudziński’s players. In the 3rd minute, following a combination between Emmanuel Ohagwu and Marcin Kraśnicki, the latter gave the home goalkeeper no chance, making it 1–0 to the visitors. In the following minutes, BKS continued to attack, but lacked precision. The second goal did not come until the 29th minute. This time, Paweł Żmudziński played the ball into the penalty area from midfield, and Krzysztof Janicki completed the formalities. Just a minute later, the hosts scored a contact goal. Ireneusz Grabkowski took advantage of Manuel Kowalski’s uncertain intervention, and BKS’s 2–0 lead became 2–1. However, the Bolesławiec side had no intention of merely defending its lead. In the 39th minute, after a corner, Emmanuel Ohagwu headed the ball into the net. The first half ended with BKS leading 3–1.
In the 57th minute, after a quick attack, Marcin Kraśnicki scored his second goal of the match, making it 4–1 to BKS. Two minutes later, Paweł Żmudziński produced a fine shot from 20 metres, and the Czarni goalkeeper had to retrieve the ball from the net for the fifth time. When it seemed that the match would continue under BKS’s control until the end, the situation began to change. After Paweł Żmudziński was substituted by Wojtek Glanc, BKS, despite its substantial lead, began to play chaotically. In the 68th minute, Ireneusz Grabkowski scored Czarni’s second goal. The goal inspired the hosts, who, with nothing to lose, tried to score again. BKS played nervously and inaccurately, which eventually resulted in Lwówek’s third goal. Kacper Włodarek entered his name on the scoresheet in the 85th minute. Czarni could have reduced the margin of defeat even further if one of their players had converted a one-on-one opportunity against the BKS goalkeeper late in the match. However, Manuel Kowalski showed his class and won the duel. BKS Bobrzanie – Czarni Lwówek 5–3 (3–1). The hosts deserve praise for their ambition and fighting until the end. In the next round, BKS will play at home against the second-placed team in the table, Włókniarz Mirsk.
