On Wednesday, May 1, the postponed 16th round of matches in the Jelenia Góra district league was played. Table leaders BKS Bobrzanie hosted Piast Wykroty. The fans witnessed an entertaining spectacle. From the opening minutes, the Bolesławiec side imposed a fast pace. BKS’s pressure paid off in the 15th minute. Following a cross from Piotr Bryłkowski, the dependable Marcin Kraśnicki headed the ball into the net. It was another goal for Marcin, who has scored in every match since the start of the spring round. The visitors responded to BKS’s accurate finish with an off-target shot by Filip Godlewski. However, until the end of the first half, Piast’s players were unable to threaten Manuel Kowalski’s goal.

After taking the lead, BKS did not slow down and continued to attack the visitors’ goal, while Piast struggled to get out of its own half. From the 26th minute, BKS had a one-player advantage, but lacked the finishing touch on its chances. In the 28th minute, the Piast goalkeeper saved a powerful shot by Wojciech Glanc. The score remained 1–0 to BKS at halftime. The good performance of the goalkeeper from Wykroty is worth noting: he was in inspired form and prevented his team from conceding at least three goals.
