The first incident took place after 7:00 a.m. in Kozłów (Bolesławiec municipality). The Chrysler Voyager driver from Szprotawa failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions and collided with a Volkswagen Golf. Four people travelling in the Volkswagen were injured in the collision. All four were taken to hospital.
About 25 minutes later in Osła (Gromadka municipality), a 28-year-old man from Głogów, driving an Opel Vectra, lost control of the vehicle, left the road and hit a tree. Fortunately, he did not suffer serious injuries. He was issued a PLN 250 fine.
Another incident occurred at 8:52 a.m. in Suszki (Bolesławiec municipality). The minibus driver skidded. The vehicle overturned. No one was injured. Police are appealing for caution.
