The 15th edition of the international Oberlausitz Cup taekwondo tournament has come to an end. The competition took place on Saturday, 25 March, in Bautzen, Germany. This year, the LMKS Gladius team was smaller than usual, consisting of 11 athletes, but won 7 medals.
Kinga Benesz and William Zarzycki won gold, while Nadia Długoszewska, Adrian Mrozik, Wiktor Kuczyński and Michał Pałys won silver medals. The bronze medal went to Wiktoria Twardowska.
At the beginning of March this year, a partnership agreement was signed between LMKS Gladius and Taekwondo Union Sachsen. The tournament in Bautzen was another opportunity to discuss details related, among other things, to the tournament scheduled for June, which will take place in Bolesławiec thanks to funding from Euroregion Nysa.
