On Saturday, February 9, the 15th BKS Football Herring Party was held at Restauracja Dąbrówka in Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka. About 80 people attended the ball. The annual event is a thank-you to the club’s sponsors and friends. Participation in the event is paid. All the money raised is used to support the club’s operations. BKS Bobrzanie president Jan Woch thanked the institutions, companies and private individuals who help the club every day.
Written thanks were received by: Regional Association of Employers, STW Cooperative and Bakery – Grzegorz Orawiec. The Sponsor of the Year title was awarded to Gerresheimer. A special distinction for many years of assistance to the club was presented to STW President Ryszard Mach. Thanks were also given to: Jacek Szymczak – for organizing the football herring party every year, and Piotr Bieńkowski – for many years of work for the club.
During the ball, auctions were also held for the herring-party trophy, a ball signed by Zbigniew Boniek, and commemorative mugs and balloons. The band "Caro" provided the music for dancing. Guests at the football herring party praised Restauracja Dąbrówka for its good service and delicious food.
