In an email to the editorial office, he wrote: “I would like to draw […] attention to this problem on behalf of many people who walk to and from work every day to/from the economic zone in Bolesławiec. Conditions along the section of Modłowa Street, on both sides of the sidewalk, are scandalous; the sidewalks are not cleared of snow at all [podkreślenia pochodzą od Czytelnika – przyp. „ii”], while dozens of people pass there every day on their way to and from work.”

We contacted Roman Palczewski, head of the District Roads Authority, about the matter. “I understand that everyone would like the roads to always be black, but we have only the financial resources that we have,” explains the head of ZDP. “We always try to ensure that the roads remain passable and that people can walk along the sidewalks,” he emphasizes. He adds that today (i.e. January 30), the sidewalks on Modłowa Street are clear.
